A bbpress plugin to notify the forums moderators about new posts

bbpress plugin: Moderator Notification

This BBpress plugin is designed to help admins and moderators monitor users by certain usergroups. Inspired by the Post Notification Plugin written by Thomas Klaiber this plugin will notify moderators by mail for each new post.

Forum spam could stop potential members for joining and cause existing members to leave, so this plugin will provide you a way to filter messages Akismet forgot!

Installation

1. Download the plugin here.
2. Upload the file moderator_notification.php into /my-plugins/ directory
   If you don't have a /my-plugins/ directory in your bbpress installation, just create one in your bbpress root directory.
3. Login as an administrator and activate the plugin via Site Management -> Plugins

Configuration

1. Every Key Master, Administrator and Moderator has check the option Moderator Post Notification via the Edit profile option to get e-mails from every regular member post.

Note: The notification email is send only for posts made by regular member posts. If a moderator wants to get notified he has to add the thread to his favorites and has to use the Post notification plugin which was mentioned before.
