no, before html code. Like this:
$sql = INSERT INTO ...

<head>
</head>
<left>
<form method="post" action="form.php">
<table border="0" align="center">
<tr>etc.
But don't worry too much about it. i thought it was something i had overlooked. I can work with that one false entry. It's not a huge problem.

typo :-))
It's not normal that you insert a new record all the time, maybe you can post the whole script? I'm sure it will no take so much time to find this small bug.
